"A woman who doesn't wear tartan (perfume) has no future"
Alexia here.
Before going on about our outfits and our passion for check this winter, we wanted to let you all know about our exciting news: Jade and I have become two of the official members of our school's fashion committee. Every year the committee organises a Fashion Show where students design and make their own clothes by hand accordingly. The students model in front of judges, scouters, headmasters and parents. For this year's show we managed to get judges from Vogue, Valentino and Chanel - how exciting! Prior to the show, the committee tries to gain enough money in order to organise it and buy the necessary equipments. Yesterday, we set up a bake sale and raised an incredible amount of money for this year's fashion show (which could only mean one thing: tartan brought us luck!). The best part is; all the money that we raise from the Fashion Show (tickets ects...) goes to charity!!! What a good day :)
The sky was grey, the weather was frosty yet Jade and I were so cosy in our tartan pants. I was wearing my flashy checked pants, a simple black jumper on top of a white round collar shirt, a raincoat and my Nikes (which you will probably be seeing a lot of as they are literally my life).
Jade is wearing a darker version of the tartan pants. She combined them with a black furry coat - perfect for a winter's day- and her suede laced shoes. Jade's trousers are the best for a day where you just want to cuddle in some black clothes, as they are discrete but will spice up your outfit.
